Lessons
At Crosstown Guitars we have a developed syllabus for each instrument that we teach. Students are able to meet the competencies of each level studying music of their interest.
We take the time to cater lessons to suit the individual.
We teach all styles of music - from Metal to Rock - Blues to Jazz - Fingerstyle to Classical. Best of all our teachers are passionate about music, passionate about playing, and passionate about teaching.
Exams
Exams are a good way to assess your abilities. At Crosstown we encourage students to sit for exams. We are accreditted and able to take you through contemporary and classical exams with the AMEB, Trinity college and ANZCA.
Individual lessons
Guitar
At Crosstown Guitars we specialize in guitar. We can teach any style of guitar from Rock to Jazz; Classical to Metal and all related styles between. With our teachers we can cover all styles and all levels of playing. Crosstown Guitars are experts in Guitar tuition.
Bass
At Crosstown Guitars we don't just teach guitar we also teach Bass in all styles Funk, Jazz, Blues, and Rock.
Drums
Crosstown Guitars teaches Drums in all styles for beginner through to intermediate.
Keyboards
Crosstown Guitars teaches beginner keyboards from 3 - 10 yrs of age.
Musicianship & Theory
We offer indivdual lessons in Musicianship, Theory and Music Craft. You can work towards exams with the AMEB, AMG or Trinity or just study for your own leisure.
Exam preparation
At Crosstown Guitars we are experienced in preparing students for HSC, University and selective high school performances and auditions.
We have qualified, NSW accredited High School music teachers that are experienced in stage 4 - 6 music (Year 7 -12). These staff members can assist in preparation for Viva Voce, aural exams, composition, and performance. They will also assist you in gaining a better understanding of the fundamental musical concepts and musical genres that are the basis of the NSW music curriculum.
Rock school
At 'Rock School' students will experience workshops in songwriting, arrangement, Rock history, Guitar, Bass, and Drums. Students will also have the opportunity to perform in a band, to write a song, record a song, and create a media kit (Film clip, Bio, Photoshoot, Webpage, MySpace and YouTube channel).
Rock Band
Commencing term 3 - Rock Band . Rock Band is an avenue for High School students to experience being in a real band. Students will rehearse as a band, record and perform a live gig. Rock Band runs weekly throughout the term.
Rock History
Rock History goes deep into the history of Rock music. It takes you on a journey through the eras, icons, events and music that have shaped Rock. From Rock's birth in the blues through to modern day trends Rock History will cover it all.
Kidz Rock
Kidz Rock classes introduce students to musical concepts, rhythm and aural awareness. Packed with fun, singing, percussion and movement Kidz Rock is a great starting point on the path to learning an instrument. Classes are designed for students 3 - 5 years of age.

Terms & conditions
Lessons must be paid for in advance for billing period
Missed lessons fees are forfeited. Catch-up lessons are only granted in exceptional circumstances.
Missed lessons at the fault of the teacher will be 'caught-up' at the earliest possible convenience.
Missed lessons will not be credited towards the fees of the following billing period.
